The Dallas Cowboys squandered a 14-point fourth-quarter lead and lost 33-30 to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday at AT&T Stadium, falling on a 42-yard field goal in overtime.
Reporter Henry McKenna shared a video on X and attributed a blunt reaction to Cowboys owner Jerry Jones: “Gotta be kidding me.”

The loss dropped Dallas to 3-5, one week after a 38-21 victory at Philadelphia. Arizona improved to 3-5.
Dallas led 24-10 with 14:20 remaining after Dak Prescott scored on a 5-yard run. The Cowboys still held a 30-24 advantage after Brandon Aubrey made a 41-yard field goal with 1:09 left, but Arizona answered with an 80-yard touchdown drive.
Gardner Minshew found Michael Wilson for a 13-yard touchdown that tied the score with six seconds remaining. Cardinals kicker Chad Ryland missed the extra point that would have put Arizona ahead, giving Dallas another chance.
The Cowboys took a knee to end regulation, then failed to turn the reprieve into an overtime victory. Arizona finished with 23 points across the fourth quarter and overtime.
The Cowboys built a 14-0 lead on James Mitchell’s recovery of a Javonte Williams fumble in the end zone and Prescott’s touchdown pass to Ryan Flournoy.
Dallas also got early stops from its defense. Caleb Downs helped stop Jeremiyah Love on fourth-and-goal at the 1, and Shemar James intercepted Jacoby Brissett to set up the opening touchdown.
The Cowboys led 14-3 at halftime and stretched the margin to 17-3 in the third quarter. Tyler Allgeier answered with a 63-yard touchdown run before Prescott restored a two-touchdown cushion early in the fourth.
Dallas next visits Indianapolis on Nov. 8, according to the team’s schedule.
