One man has been arrested in connection to a fatal shooting.
The shooting happened around 7pm Thursday in the St. Pauls community of Robeson County. A male reportedly shot and killed his girlfriend at a McLean Street residence.
The man reportedly then left the home with his three children, but left the victim’s children inside. He later turned himself into authorities and is being held at the Robeson County Detention Center.
A motive for the shooting has not been disclosed and details remain limited as investigators work to learn more.
